100% YES! Coaches control their rates featured on ThrivSports and GOLFNOW. Other than standard credit card authorization fees, GOLFNOW nor ThrivSports does not take any percentage of the services purchased on Coach Marketplace.
Coach Marketplace is a featured tab on the GOLFNOW homepage. Millions of golfers will be able to search for coaches based upon geographic location, coaching specialty, experience and certifications.
Just being on GOLFNOW is a great benefit for your coaching business, but it always helps to get listed towards the top of any marketplace. On Coach Marketplace there are several factors that can boost your positioning. These include: The number of positive reviews from students, length of time on GOLFNOW, and optimization of your profile.
After completing the signup process, a ThrivSports rep will work with you to make sure your profile page is fully optimized for placement on GOLFNOW. This includes image optimization, bio creation, services listed, social media integration, and more!
Yes. While you are not required to utilize ThrivSports for your everyday scheduling and business management, coaches featured on GOLFNOW must offer at least 1 service item for purchase on GOLFNOW. To do this, you must be bookable on the ThrivSports Platform.
No. You get 100% of your published rate for all services offered (minus standard credit card authorization fees).
This depends on your payment settings. If you take online payment, the funds will be credited to your bank account on file within 1-3 business days of the original purchase. If you require payment at the facility, you are required to collect payment from the customer at the time of their lesson. To prevent “no-shows”, GOLFNOW requires the customer to put a card on file regardless of your payment settings, and will be billed for the amount of your cancellation fee in the event the customer “no-shows”.
No. Coach Marketplace on GOLFNOW is completely separate of the tee-time booking service. Any verified coach with services available on ThrivSports may be featured on GOLFNOW.
You may add as many verifiable coaches as you would like to the Coach Marketplace. Additional coaches are $25 per month.
All students who book your services through GOLFNOW or ThrivSports are immediately added to your database, and their information is owned by you.
Yes. Your Coach Marketplace membership is billed quarterly or annually, and can be cancelled at any time prior to your recurring billing date to avoid additional charges. Once cancelled your profile will remain on Coach Marketplace until the current pay period has ended, unless you ask to be removed prior to that date.
